LEGO
PROJECT PLAY
Over 80% of high school students feel pressured to dedicate all their time to study. The right brain gets priority. Creativity is considered useless. And play? Well that's for 'kids'.
Play and creativity are proven to alleviate stress and improve learning, yet the highschool system doesn't value it.
As we get older classrooms lose their colour, there is no free time, 'play' gets called 'recess', and there are no playgrounds.
So in usual Lego fashion, we proposed an experiment. It's called Project Play. A program to re-engage VCE students with play and improve their studies with Lego Playscapes.

Seamless Play
We'll incorporate the playscapes seamlessly into the VCE curriculum. Their Playscape will prove there is a more productive way to learn. Enhanced. Creative. And fun.

A Momento
As the experiment concludes, we'll leave graduates with a special parting gift, to make sure they never forget play.

How It Works
Selected schools taking part in the initial experiment will get access to the Playscapes Digital Builder. Here, senior students can collaborate and build a custom playground, or 'Playscape', for their co-hort.
1. Build Playscape
2. Sumbit to Lego
3. Lego builds offsite
4. Lego Delivers

Support
We'll rally support for Playscapes to be a permanent learning solution in the curriculum by sharing the results of the experiment with a series on our socials.
